Who is Tom Sykes riding for in 2019?

Tom Sykes is a British motorcycle racer who won Superbike World Championship in 2013 having won 34 races for Kawasaki throughout his career. He is the only rider to have achieved 106 podiums.

On July 17th, 2018 it was announced that the association between Tom Sykes and Kawasaki has come to an end at the completion of Superbike World Championship 2018.

He stated:

“I feel the time has arrived; the moment to make a change in my career and seek new challenges, Nothing can be said about those new challenges or changes.”

Nothing can be said about those new challenges or changes. However, it was reported that he would swap the place with Michael von der Mark who has been riding for PATA Yamaha team. There were also rumors that he might join GRT but there is no space there anymore. That leaves the theory that he might join Red Bull Honda as there will be a seat for 2019.
